When a car's lights fail, the driver can still communicate with other drivers by using hand signals. Additionally, because they lack alternative signaling equipment, cyclists, skateboarders, and scooter riders frequently employ hand signals. In order to keep oneself and others safe, they must be able to read hand signals.
There are 3 standard hand signals for drivers:
Stopping or slowing down is denoted by extending your arm downward and looking backward with the palm.
An arm sticking out of the window in a straight line signifies a left turn.
Turning to the rightturn is signified by raising the arm in a 90° angle.
If the car don't have brake lights, the driver can slow down or stop by extending their arm downward and pointing their palm backwards.
