United Kingdom should provide the food locally rather than importing from the abroad as UK is self sufficient to produce the food.

What is Import?

Import is the purchasing of the goods and services from the other country and fulfilling the needs of the consumers. Import is one of the major component of the international trade.

UK should source the food locally as it has the capacity to provide the large sufficiency of 60%. Some of the food items can be imported which does not support the weather conditions.

The food produced locally is of the good quality with high nutrients and no microbial spoilage. Therefore, United Kingdom should provide the food locally rather than importing from the abroad.
