How do you find line segments? I'm having trouble with summer homework going into sixth grade AAAAA

line segments are lines that have two distinct endpoints (a dot) •

(see example 2)

finding them on a number line(example 3)

look for two dots

the line between them is the line segment

on a figure(example 1)

end points are always closed so every line on a shape is a line segment

to name them,

use the start and endpoint

with a line above the two letters

(make sure they are capitalized)

go alphabetically

(see example 4)
