Use the distributive property to multiply 0.25 by x−6.

\boldsymbol{\dfrac{3}{4}x+0.25x-1.5+28.4  }

combine \bf{\frac{3}{4}x } and 0.25x to get x.

\boldsymbol{x-1.5+28.4}

Add −1.5 and 28.4 to get 26.9.
