The value of a2+b2 = 0.05

The value of a3+b3 = 41.73

Concept: (a+b)2 = a2+b2+2ab

(a-b)2 = a2+b2-2ab

(a+b)3 = a3+b3+3a2b+3ab2

(a-b)3 = a3-b3-3a2b+3ab2

(I) a²+b²=(1/7-4✓3)²+(1/7+4✓3)²

⇒ ( 1/49 - 48) +(1/49 + 48)=(1-2352/49) + (1+2353/49)

⇒ -47.97 +48.02= 0.05

(ii) a³+b³=(1/7-4✓3)³+(1/7+4✓3)³

⇒(-6.78)³ +(7.07)³

⇒-311.66 +353.39= 41.73

Elden [556K]
In the function g(x) the exponent is (x - 1), so g(x) = 12 * 2 ^ (x -1)

h(x) = 3x

So, you have to find the product f(x) * h(x) for x = 6

f(6) = 12 * 2 (6 -1) = 12 * 2(5) = 12 * 32 = 384

h(6) = 3(6) = 18

f(6) * h(6) = 384 * 18 = 6912

Answer: 6912

If you observe the graphs, you can see that the graph of G(x) is obtained by moving F(x) 1 unit to left.

Moving one unit to left is equivalent to adding 1 to x in the base of the expression in given case.

So,

G(x) = F(x+1)

G(x) = (x+1)²

Thus the correct answer is option D
