When an allele is said to be dominant (like the F allele), it means that individuals with at least one of these alleles will express the associated trait. Remember, heterozygous individuals have one dominant allele (F) and one recessive allele (f). Because there is at least one dominant allele, the phenotype of the couple is to have freckles.

  • For the organism to function properly, energy conservation is crucial. Gluconeogenesis is suppressed when there is an abundance of energy available.

Therefore, gluconeogenesis conserve more energy.
