1. Through all of human history, music has played a significant role in culture and society. It frequently met religious and spiritual demands while also assisting in the formation of tribal relationships. Since the Paleolithic era till the present, music has endured. Around the world, music has influenced civilizations and communities and been passed down from one generation to the next. It has the capacity to affect one's mood, perceptions, and motivation for change. Everyone has a personal connection to music, yet its influences on the culture around us might not always be obvious. As more and more musical instruments were created over time, people began to play them together. This led to the creation of increasingly more intricate and sophisticated sounds. Along with the culture, the rhythms, speed, beat, and other elements altered.
2. Music has an enormous impact on society. It is included into pretty much every team building exercise we can think of. Even in huge venues where people congregate to watch sports, it is played. Political campaigns, TV shows, movies, retail establishments, elevators, bars, and even workplaces all have soundtracks. The TV news is framed by it. We listen to music in our earplugs, on airplanes, and in our vehicles. We use it to balance a romantic meal (or any eating), to weep at funerals, to worship our gods, to get married, to party, to work out at the gym, and to crown our rulers. Additionally, there is dancing, attending concerts, going to social clubs, busking, jamming, and mosh pits. When we don't play it (air guitar), we play it, and when we jog, it repeats in our minds (even without earplugs). Our cultural identity is defined by it (ragas, flamenco, gamelan, fado, etc). It encapsulates our objections. It describes both our joy and our sorrow. It tells our stories. It has a sweeping societal impact. Our mood is set and our feelings about various things are conveyed. We live in a social period when musical soundtracks are so prevalent that we hardly notice them, yet we acutely detect their absence and quickly fill in any silence gaps.
