Two countries that are on the opposite sides of the demographic transition, one being in the first faze, while the other in the fourth faze, will differ in pretty much everything.

The country in the first faze will have low economic development, bad infrastructure, the availability to the institutions will be limited to only some people. Most of the population will live in poverty, being on the verge of survival, and in very unhygienic conditions.

The country in the fourth faze will be the total opposite. It will be a highly developed country, with excellent infrastructure, the institutions are available for everyone. Most of the population will high income and be living in nice conditions.

In the country in the first faze, the birth rates will be high, but the death rates will be high as well, having a very low life expectancy too. In the country in the fourth faze, the birth rates will be very low, and the death rates will also be low, with the life expectancy being very high.

Explain how the Ocracoke ponies arrived to the island
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

Explanation:

National Park Service has been keeping the native ponies on Ocracoke Island since the 1960s. It is believed that these ponies arrived and left by the ships. These ships required to lower their load thus they left the ponies on the Island. These ponies are known as Ocracoke ponies and also called as Banker ponies. These ponies share a link to old Spanish horses genetically. The unique characteristics of the ponies include one fewer lumbar vertebrae, greater bone density, short necks, wide foreheads, and one fewer rib.

State 2 features each which viruses have in common with living things
BabaBlast [244]
1. Like living things, viruses have genetic material and 2. viruses can evolve.

- Viruses share many genes with their host cells. Viruses are dependent on living organisms, which lead to some living characteristics - they can reproduce/replicate in living host cells, mutate, appear in different strains, and have unique genetic material. However, viruses are classified as not living things because they can’t carry out the necessary processes that meet all requirements for the classification of a living thing. They do NOT undergo respiration and cannot generate energy needed to survive on its own, but viruses *do* share a few features with living things.

I need two examples of things that apply to both relative and absolute dating
matrenka [14]
Relative dating concerns the dating of fossils by using stratum (layers in the rock) to find the estimated age.

Absolute dating is finding the age of a fossil by using radiometric methods, such as fluorine dating or half-life dating; which is more accurate than relative dating.
