Can someone write an original poem that emulates Emily Dickinson’s style
olasank [31]

Her style was characterized by usage of hyphens and weird sentencing so here is my attempt.

Explanation:

Once or twice it happened --

but all the while - i left the blame

to let the blame scorch the sky

and never, ever ----- reach

reach for me, because ---- no one could.

Attempting futility --- again

I rise, I fall, yes-- indeed again

Reach for me, because it seems

It's not possible

To reach, no one could.

This poem attempts at her disjointed punctuation along with the free verse stanzas with augmented flows that seem to be found often in her poetry. Hope this helps.

Rosa Parks' decision to not give up her seat is an example of a Creator mindset because she saw
erik [133]

The correct answer is True.

Explanation

Rosa Parks was an African-American activist who was noted for denying the bus seat in which she was sitting to a white man. This fact allowed the African American and civil rights movements of the United States to gain strength against racial segregation laws and to establish more equal laws for all without any distinction. This attitude of Rosa Parks during this episode demonstrates a creative mentality because at that time she was obliged by law to give up her chair, however, she saw it as an opportunity not to give it up to set a precedent for the civil rights of African Americans in the United States. According to the above, the correct answer is True, because Rosa Parks acted differently than she would be expected to act in a difficult situation.

What is the theme of the poem "choices" by nikki giovanni
Helen [10]
In the poem it talks about us as people not having the choices we think we should or believe we should have. My theme statement is that maybe sometimes what we expect we should have isnt always going to be for us .The poem talks about choices and on top of that going into further research, Giovanni created this poem right after her father died. The poem basically is saying that we don't have the choices we think we should have or believe but we know that life is short.
