95.44% IQ scores are between 77 and 125

We're given,

Mean (a)=101

standard deviation (b)=12

To find : P[77 < x < 125]

Using Empirical Rule:

∴ P[77 < x < 125]  = P[\frac{77-101}{12} < \frac{x-a}{b} < \frac{125-101}{12}]\\

=P[-2 < z < 2]\\

=P[Z < 2]-P[Z < -2]\\

=0.9772-0.0228\\

=0.9544 =95.44% (approx)

Whats it called when the moon seems to be getting bigger every night?
Alexandra [31]
Technically, the moon doesn't "change" every night.
The shape APPEARS to change.
These are the phases of the moon or "cycle" of the moon if you prefer to call it.

Hope this helps!

The book that i read was entertaining passive voice.
KIM [24]

The best way to change the given sentence from an active voice to a passive voice is: I was entertained by the book I read.

A passive voice can be defined as a form of verb in which the subject of a sentence undergoes the verb's action. Thus, a passive voice simply means that the subject of the sentence actively undergoes the action stated by its verb or is being acted on by the verb.

This ultimately implies that, a passive voice is typically used when a speaker or writer wants to make emphasizes on the action of a verb (verb's action) and the direct object of a sentence rather than its subject.

<u>Note:</u> The book is the object while entertaining is the verb's action.

In this scenario, the best way to change the given sentence from an active voice to a passive voice is "I was entertained by the book I read."
