Predict the potential impact of severe solar weather on Earth's
communication systems.
DaniilM [7]

Severe solar weather has the potential to cripple communication systems on earth.

Solar weather occurs when solar activity increases. Sudden bursts called Coronal Mass Ejections are the main culprits of solar weather. These CME's release bursts of plasma and charged particles straight towards the Earth. Once these particles impact the upper atmosphere they cause geomagnetic storms that interfere with radio signals and communication and possibly fry electronic devices.

Severe geomagnetic storms can cause devastation for Earth's communication network. These storms interfere with radio communication, meaning that phone service, radio broadcasts, and even internet connection would be disabled. Even worse, these storms can often damage electronics, specifically satellites. Damage to satellites can cause severe damage to modern-day infrastructure.

The symbols +, -, and 0 are to be used to show the results of interactions between individuals and groups of individuals. The sy
Greeley [361]

Answer:

++

Explanation:

This is an example of ecological interaction where the actions of one organism is benefitting the other i.e. both organisms are benefitting from the relationship. This type of relationship is referred to as MUTUALISM.

In this example, the cellulose-digesting organism lives in the guts of the termite. The termite benefits from this association by getting its ingested cellulose (in form of wood) degraded or broken down. Termites feed on wood and naturally, they don't contain the enzymes that helps it digest it, hence, they depend on the enzyme secreted by these organisms in their guts to digest cellulose.

The cellulose-digesting organism gets shelter, protection and food in return as they cannot survive outside the termite's guts. Hence, it is a win-win (++) situation for the two organisms.

What is the role of TNF family members in the development of peripheral or secondary lymphoid organs.
slamgirl [31]

The growth of lymphoid tissue in the gut is fueled by TNFa. Because TNF/Rorc(gt)/ mice, who express higher amounts of TNF but lack RORgt+ LTi cells, also generate lymphoid tissue in sites of inflammation, the development of this ectopic lymphoid tissue was not contingent on the presence of conventional RORgt+ LTi cells. Surprisingly, these animals produced a number of lymph nodes that resembled those of wild type animals in both structure and function. When stromal cells were activated during the late stages of embryogenesis and when an organogenic pathway that permitted the formation of lymph nodes was activated, TNF generation by F4/80+ myeloid cells located inside the anlagen was crucial.
