MisterBrainly (also known as Enstine) lets out 100 feet of string on a kite from a hand height of 3 feet. The angle between hori

zontal hand height and the kite is 25º. Find the height of the kite above the ground, to the nearest foot.

Height of the kite from 3ft above the ground

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow sin\Theta=\dfrac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow sin25=\dfrac{P}{100}

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow P=100sin25

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow P=42.26\approx 42ft

Height from the ground

  • 42+3
  • 45ft(Rounded)

Answer: I love the picture example

Step-by-step explanation:

We will first find the heigh of the kite from his hand to a point in the air.

Then, we will add 3 feet to the result.

So, how to find the vertical line of the right triangle?

Well, we have the vertical line = x

We also got the hypothenuse, equal to 100 feet

And also theta, equal to 25 degrees.

We can calculate sine because the sine of 25 degrees = opposite side (the height line) over (divided by) the hypothenuse

sin(25) = x/100 feet

multiply 100 feet on both sides, to cancel to 100 feet on the right side.

100sin(25) = x

100(0.442) = x

x = 42.2  feet

Height = 42.2 + 3 feet (the yoda's hand =) =  45.2 feet (total)

<u>Rounded to the nearest tenth.</u>

I also did the verification, so it is the correct answer.

Easy as that =]]

kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

If the lines are parallel, final form of his solution is

b) -5 = -5+1

Step-by-step explanation:

As the options are not given in the question and the question is incomplete, lets complete the question first.

Giovani solves a system of linear equations algebrically, he concludes that the lines are parallel. Which could be his final answer.

a) -5 = -5

b) -5 = -5+1

c) 11 = 11

d) 5 = 5

We know that parallel lines never cross at any point, there is no intersection point, which eventually means that there is no solution to the given equations. A system of equations which have no solution is called an inconsistent system of equations, and it graphs the parallel line.

From the options we can clearly see that only (b) has no solution, while all the rest of the options have solutions. Hence, -5 = -5+1 represents parallel lines.

7)
Alla [95]

Step-by-step explanation:

7. There is no tree diagram, sticking it as impossible to solve at the moment.

8.  The temperature went down 5 degrees and then goes up 7 degrees. The low temperature is -5.

9. The formula is \frac {3}{4} * \frac {1}{6}, or 1/8
