<u>Hello:</u>

<u />

<u>Okay, this problem should be taken in a series of steps</u>:

<u>What is the slope's formula?</u>

  \rm\hookrightarrow  \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

  • (x₁,y₁) -- first point
  • (x₂,y₂) -- second point

<u>Okay, now let's use this knowledge</u>

10. (5,-19) and (-5,21)

       Slope = \frac{21--19}{-5-5} =\frac{40}{-10}=-4

11. (12,1) and (12, -1)

      Slope = \frac{-1-1}{12-12} =\frac{-2}{0}

12. (8,7) and (4,7)

     Slope = \frac{7-7}{4-7} =0

<u>Answer:</u>

  • Question 10: -4
  • Question 11: undefined
  • Question 12: 0

Hopefully that helps!

Solve the equation for y: -2y=-x+7
vitfil [10]

To solve for a variable means to ISOLATE the variable on one side of the equation. To do so, divide both sides by the coefficient of y.

Look:

2y/2 = (-x+7)/2

Answer: y = (-x + 7)/2

The answer can also be written as

y = -(x/2) + (7/2)

Both answers mean the same thing.

40 POINTS AVAILABLE!!!<br> PLEASE HELP
NemiM [27]

Step-by-step explanation:

\begin{array}{ccc}1&-&d\\2&-&c\\3&-&a\\4&-&b\\5&-&f\\6&-&e\end{array}

Value 1:

r = 5ft, h = 10ft. Substitute:

SA=2\pi(5)(10)+2\pi(5^2)=100\pi+50\pi=150\pi\ ft^2

Value 2:

r = 2in, h = 4in. Substitute:

V=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi(2^2)(4)=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi(4)(4)=\dfrac{16\pi}{3}\\\\\pi\approzx3.14\to V\approx\dfrac{(16)(3.14)}{3}\approx16.75\ in^3

Value 3:

r = 6m. Substitute:

V=\dfrac{4}{3}\pi(6^3)=\dfrac{4}{3}\pi(216)=4\pi(72)=288\pi\ m^3\\\\\pi\approx3.14\to V\approx288(3.14)=904.32\ m^3

A rectangle measures 4 by 6 inches. If the lengths of each side double, what is the effect on the area?
Vikentia [17]
4 x 6 = 24.
Double the dimensions.
8 x 12 = 96

If the dimensions were to double, the area would quadruple.

At a particular swim meet, 10 points were awarded for each first-place finish, 8 points for second, and 7 points for third.
solniwko [45]

Answer:

So in each high-school has a first, second and third, and so as the question says, they give 10 points for the first, so get the first and times it by 10 so for example Rosewood high-school had 3 firsts so 3x10=30 and thts the solution to all of them so after getting the 3 answers for each high-school add each school up and find ur answer.Washington high school is 142 points Johnson high school is 159 points

Roosevelt high school is 116

Lewis high school 66. I know u want the full answer but u should figure out which is the most to the least.
