English

The clearest example of metafiction is the story. A story with footnotes that comment on the author's process.

Many resources can be employed to make use of metafiction (a narrative technique in which the author constantly reminds the reader that he or she is reading a fictional work), and some of them include:

  • Telling a story within a story
  • Telling a story about a third person who's reading or writing a book
  • And of course, telling a story and making use of footnotes to comment on it

In this way the reader is engaged and becomes a participant in the story, forcing himself to think about the nature of the narration and how much credibility exists in the stories he/she reads.

konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

  • has grown

Explanation:

This is a really tricky question to be honest. I believe the answer will be 'has grown' as:

  • Among the given options it won't be 'have grown' as have is used for plural subjects (except for 'you' and 'I'). Here, the subject will be the 'seed of revolution' which is in singular form.
  • Now, there's 'has been grown'. This could be right but remember that the term 'seed of revolution' doesn't refer to the normal plant seeds but it signifies how people came to have the seed embeded within themselves and the intelligence to fight for their rights, thus starting a revolution. No one artificially grew this seed for it to 'have been' grown; it just grew naturally in the minds of the civillians.
  • Hence, 'has grown' seems to be the most apt answer.

Please do let me know if this is wrong or right. Thanks!

The poems “We Real Cool” and “The Negro Speaks of Rivers” use a viewpoint that is unusual in this unit. The unusual viewpoint is this: Both Brooks and Hughes are calling for a change in the lives and attitudes of their fellow African-Americans -  and they have to do it. These types of positive pieces of art might well have been essential pieces to unite the black community in the call for civil rights.

Explanation:

In this literary composition, the perspective is that of a Black person who claims his race and takes pride in its heritage. Hughes himself wrote that he boarded a train and looked out the window at the massive, muddy river. As he watched, Hughes mirrored upon the tragic history of slaves being sold-out down this mighty stream, he recalled the opposite rivers of blacks' history: the Congo, the Niger, and also the Nile. "I've understood rivers," he then thought. His literary composition has the perspective of the soul of the Negro; that's, a racial soul that courses throughout time. victimization the primary person closed-class word "I," Hughes writes of the historical association of the Negro likewise because of the non-secular expertise nonheritable because the speaker connects to the 3 African rivers in associate extended metaphor:
