Answer is very straightforward:
If you got 49 students and require at least 9 square feet of floor space for each of them, the total minimum floor space you need would be: 49 x 9 = 441 square ft.

Hope it helps!

PLEASE HELP - Find the area of a regular octagon with a side length of 5 cm. Round to the nearest tenth. (Please explain in full
Vinil7 [7]

Answer: 482.8 sq cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The octagon is 8 isosceles triangles.  Each has common side r and base 10.  The central angle is 360/8 = 45°.  By the Law of cosines,

10² = r² + r² - 2 r² cos 45° = 2r²(1 - √2/2) = r²(2-√2)

r² = 100/(2-√2)

The area of a triangle with sides a,b and included angle C is (1/2)ab sin C. Our 8 octagon isosceles triangles each have sides r and r and included angle 45° so our total area, 8 triangles, is

A = 8(1/2) r² sin 45° = (400/(2-√2)) (√2/2) × (2+√2)/(2+√2) = 200(1+√2)

A ≈482.84271

Given a circle with a radius of 6, what the the length of an arc measuring 30 degrees
Mazyrski [523]
\bf \textit{arc's length}\\\\
s=\cfrac{\theta \pi r}{180}\quad
\begin{cases}
r=radius\\
\theta =angle~in\\
\qquad degrees\\
------\\
r=6\\
\theta =30
\end{cases}\implies s=\cfrac{30\cdot \pi \cdot 6}{180}\implies s=\pi

Hello!

When doing Sine, Cosine and Tangent the sides of the triangle tell you what to do

The hypotenuse is H
The bottom side is A
The Straight up and down side is O

For Sine you do O / H
For Cosine you do A / H
For Tangent you do O/ A

Put in the values you Sine

Sin A = 5/ 13

Put in the values for Cosine

Cos A = 12/ 13

The answer is A) Sin A = 5/ 13, cos A = 12/ 13

Hope this helps!
