The nurses should stop the doing the paperwork and go attend to those patient if it seems forever finishing the paper and then come back to it later. it would be very annoying to have to wait a long time before the nurses attend to you and that might end up pushing those patents away from that hospital because then those patients would think they don't attend to them fast and may even end up causing a bad name for the hospitals.

What should be included in the change of shift report?

It should have the patient's medical record, current medication, allergies, pain levels and pain regime plan, and discharge instructions.

Providing these sorts of pieces about your patient in your end of shift report decreases the risk of an oncoming nurse putting the patient in danger.

Thus, this could be the answer.

Pavel [41]

Answer:

IV Drip rate = 20.00 gtts/min (drops per minute).

explanation

if the IV Drip rate = (1500 ml * 16 gtts/ml) / (12 hours * 60) = 33 gtts per minute. Considering that intravenous fluid,be it a certain substance of just glucose, needs to be given at a specific rate, this has been decided to be measured in ml/hour or drops per min.

When you shine a light into one pupil, the normal reaction of the other pupil should be to?
OverLord2011 [107]

When you shine a light into one pupil, the normal reaction of the other pupil should be to become smaller.

Penlight

The most popular tool for measuring pupil diameter now has a light source and is a penlight. One pupil contracts in reaction to light, whereas the other either doesn't contract at all or contracts more slowly.

Use a penlight to get the maximum amount of pupil contraction in one eye, then quickly move to the other eye and return to the first. A consensual reaction normally causes the second eye to respond with the same pupillary constriction as the first.

Penlight is a useful examination tool for doctors, particularly for small body parts like the mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. They frequently employ it for the pupil test, a physical examination technique used to determine whether pupils contract or remain dilated in response to light.
