The meaning of the story of Pandora was to explain why their is evil in the world, and was used to teach young children not to let their curiosity get the best of them. But most importantly it also goes along the lines of "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back" because although by opening the box Pandora let out all the bad things we have today, Pandora relied her mistake and closed the box before hope could escape ( if it had escaped the sins would have destroyed it, leaving no good in the world, cause without hope, what good is their?)
