In modern times, people have lots of different opinions about who or what determines our lives. Many people have faith that a di

vine being is in control of our lives, and that we are just moving along a course that's been determined for us from birth. In that sense, we may feel as though we make our own choices, but in fact, that higher power is directing our choices. Create ONE post that answers the following prompt. According to modern people, who or what determines the outcome of people's lives? Is that similar to or different from what the ancient Greeks thought? Do you believe in fate? Why or why not?

God controls our lives

Explanation:

based on the Roman Catholic church we were all created by one God and he controls what we do and not do

It's really not that different to what the ancient Greeks believed in because they too believed in gods

Yes I believe in fate

Because fate can make anything come true when something happens to someone I believe it's fate that is the cause

If Shana conceded the election results, would she probably be ahead or behind in the vote count
kvasek [131]

Answer:

Behind

Explanation:

When candidates are behind in the vote count and there are very few votes left to count, they will often concede the election. Conceding the election is a way of losing elegantly and not waiting until the last vote has been cast to be officially declared the loser of the elections. Candidates only make this decision when there is virtually no chance of winning.
