The perimeter is 10.3. I think that's already in significant digits, but I'm not sure. We just got finished learning that in chemistry and it confused me to death!
9.3 × 107 would be the scientific notation
1 - 1/2c = 6
1 -1 - 1/2c = 6 -1 (subtract 1 on both sides)
-1/2c = 5 (next do the inverse operation)
c = 5 ÷ 1/2
c = -10
to check your answer substitute the value of c in the equation;
1- 1/2c = 6
1- 1/2(-10) = 6
1 + 5 = 6
6 =6
All you have to do is take the size for every cereal, divide it with its price and you should get your answer as cents. then compare them all and see which one has the lowest price.
