The slow decrease in memory as one ages is an example of a/n intra-individual difference.

Reaction time intra-individual variability (RT IIV) is regarded as a measure of how well the central nervous system is working. In neurodegenerative disorders or after traumatic brain damage, such variability is increased. Additionally, it has been hypothesised that healthy ageing will rise with age.

RT IIV was higher in older (60+) persons compared to younger (20-39) and middle-aged (40-59) adults. In choice RT tasks compared to simple RT tasks, age effects were more pronounced. Effect sizes were bigger for comparisons between older and younger individuals than between older and middle-aged adults for all measures of RT IIV, showing that age-related increases in RT IIV are not just present in the elderly. Additionally, raw RT IIV measurements had greater effect sizes than RT-mean adjusted RT IIV measures.

Supporters of the plural executive structure make which argument in favor of it?
defon

Supporters of the plural executive structure rely on two main arguments in favor of it, which are protection against abuses of power by elected officials and also the position that this arrangement is more democratic.

The plural executive structure corresponds to the power distributed to more than one official elected by the citizens as head of state.

Therefore, the argument of the defenders of this arrangement is in respect of increased cooperation and trust between the executive and legislative powers, limitation of power and increased responsibility towards the population.

Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

The correct answer is D.

Explanation:

The president can veto laws. The power of the President to refuse to approve a bill or joint resolution and thus prevent its enactment into law is the veto. This veto can be overridden only by a two-thirds vote in both the Senate and the House. If this occurs, the bill becomes law over the President's objections. The Constitution explicitly assigns the president the power to sign or veto legislation.

The currency of Country X is pegged to the currency of Country Y and will remain pegged. Assume that Country Y's currency apprec
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

Appreciated.

Explanation:

Currency pegging occurs when a country attaches, or pegs, its exchange rate to another currency, this pegging stabilizes the exchange rate between countries and what happens to one, happens to the other. Most countries are pegged to the US dollar.

In this example the currency of country X is pegged to that of country Y, during the last week, Country Y's currency appreciated against the dollar, thus, since they are pegged (or in other words, attached), what happens to one will happen to the other.

Thus, the currency of country X appreciated against the dollar during the last week too.
