The graph shows the comparison of the human welfare and ecological footprints.

What is a graph?

A graph simply means a diagram that shows the relationship between variables.

From the graph, it can be seen that countries such as Norway, Canada, USA, and Australia meet the minimum criteria for sustainability.

The graph also shows that Sierra Leone is the least developed country among the countries compared as it has the lowest human development index.

The threshold for high human development as given as 0.8. Most African countries had a human development index of 0.5 and below.

jessie estimates the weight of her cat to be 8 pounds the actual weight was 10 pounds. find the percent error
seraphim [82]

Answer: She was off by 25%

Step-by-step explanation: I used proportions to solve this. 100% and 8 are the same because 100% was what she thought the weight of the cat was. So this is one side of the proportion. The other side, we need a variable which is X. X is the unknown percentage. X is equal to 10. I then did 100% x 10 which is 1000 then divided it by 8 which is equal to 125%. 125% - 100% = 25%.

What is the perimeter of a parallelogram, if its area is 72 cm2 and the distances between the point of intersection of the diago
netineya [11]

Answer:

The perimeter of a parallelogram is 42 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a parallelogram is 72 cm².

The formula for area of a parallelogram is

A=base \times height

It is given that the distances between the point of intersection of the diagonals and the sides are 3 cm and 4 cm.

The distance between point of intersection of the diagonals and the opposite sides are same.

h_1=3+3=6cm

A=b_1\times h_1

72=b_1\times 6

b_1=12cm

The measure of a side is 12 cm.

h_2=4+4=8cm

A=b_2\times h_2

72=b_2\times 8

b_2=9cm

The measure of another side is 9 cm.

The perimeter of a parallelogram is

P=2(b_1+b_2)=2(12+9)=42

Therefore the perimeter of a parallelogram is 42 cm.
