The approximate LD50 of the least toxic substance will be 130 mg/Kg.

 • The dose necessary to cause the death of 50% of a population under test after a predetermined test period is known as the LD50 value for a drug.
 • Commonly used as a broad indicator of a substance's acute toxicity are LD50 values.
 • Greater toxicity is indicated by a lower LD50. A low LD50 of 500 mg/kg or less implies severe toxicity.
 • Moderate toxicity is indicated by an LD50 of 500 to 1,000 mg/kg. A modest toxicity level of 1,000 to 2,000 mg/kg is indicated.
 • The species is especially vulnerable to the poison if the LD50 is low. The lethal dose (LD50) of a specific poison might change significantly between several animal species.
 • Thus out of all the options, LD50 130 mg/kg will have the lowest toxicity and 20 mg/kg will be the highest.

The creation of DNA fragments with ends that can join with other DNA is achieved by the use of restrictive enzyme analysis.

What are restriction enzymes?

They are enzymes utilized in genetic engineering or gene recombination technology to cut DNA at some specific points in other to have sticky ends.

The sticky ends DNAs are able to join with other DNAs using these ends. Another enzyme (Ligase) is utilized to join the DNA back once the desired DNA has been inculcated.

In Alaska, grizzly bears must eat 10 fish and drink up to 25 liters of water to live. A
EleoNora [17]

The fish is the limiting factor because its population determines the survival and availability of the grizzly bears.

A limiting factor is resources(biotic or abiotic) that affects or determine the availabity and growth of an organism or group of an organism within an ecosystem.

The more fish it takes, the more the liver produces urea, and kidney tubules makes use of the urea in it tubules for urine formation in the loop of Henle. The urine formation and loss, leads to intake of water and the sequence continues.

This is an example of a biological limiting factor because the bear predate on the fish for survival and population.

If the population of the fish drops,( the limiting factor) the bear drinks less water based on above, and therefore disruptions of the ecosystem.

The variability in marine salinity between habitats does not impact the fish living there.
nikitadnepr [17]
Well, there are two kinds of organisms: osmoregulators, that can regulate the level of salt and the salinity does not affect them (an example is salmon: for salmon this sentence is true. Generally, for most fish this sentence is true)

However, for some species, such shark - osmoconformers - this is false: they are affected by the salinity. in general I would conclude that This is false: the marine salinity DOES affect the fish (and other organisms) living there.
