General Dwight Eisenhower decide to run for president when he believed that soldiers should stay out of politics because Eisenhower disliked the foreign policy views of the leading Republican candidate.

To counter Senator Robert A. Taft's isolationist foreign policy, which included opposing NATO and seeking no international entanglements, Eisenhower ran for president in 1952 as a Republican. Adlai Stevenson II lost to Eisenhower handily in each of those elections, which he won in landslides.

Eisenhower made a huge speech toward the end of the campaign in which he declared that if he won, he would travel to Korea to try to put an end to the war. Eisenhower received the last push he required to win thanks to his high military standing and the public's growing fatigue with the war.

jek_recluse [69]

Answer:Self-enhance

Explanation:John Dewey recognized that people engage in self-enhancement when they distort things about themselves because they want to create a positive image that will make them look like they more lovable and capable. This is motivated by the fact that one wants to create this perception of being big and better.

Self enhancement has nothing to do with improving so that you can be better but it is all about creating an image that will make you look like you are more competent and capable individual more than one is in reality.
