No, the biodiversity is not as high in a city park as it is in a farm or rainforest

because, in an urban city park, only the species with the most general habitat and resource requirements have generally remained in the urban park.

What is Biodiversity ?

“Biodiversity” not only refers to the number of individual species, but also the genetic variety within and between species and the diversity of ecosystems and regions.

 • City Parks are less likely to have biodiversity richness as compared to a farm or a rainforest.

 • This is because these parts are artificially created and a lot of naturally occurring flora and fauna are modified in the process. This results in dilution of biodiversity-rich place.

Answer:

brown bear

Explanation:

Brown bears have long, intimidating claws. However, since they are not retractable, they are relatively blunt and are usually used for digging. These bears are incredibly strong, able to break the necks of many large prey with one powerful blow. Their thick fur and layer of fat help to insulate them against the extreme cold temperatures of their habitat.

What does a red blood cell look like at in 0.65M solution
Ket [755]
It depends on what kind of solution is referred as 0.65 M. If the solution where the red blood cell is present is hypertonic, the red blood cell will shrink. If the solution is hypotonic, the red blood cell will expand. If the solution is isotonic, the red blood cell will not expand or shrink.

What makes a variation different from an adaptation? Use an example to explain.
Talja [164]

Answer:

A variation is different to an adaptation as a variation is a difference or variety inside a species, for example a different breed of dog such as a spaniel is a variety of the dog species, whereas an adaptation is a genetic mutation that has developed in order to help an animal survive, such as giraffes having a long neck. Adaptations continue throughout the species due to natural selection.
