No, the biodiversity is not as high in a city park as it is in a farm or rainforest

because, in an urban city park, only the species with the most general habitat and resource requirements have generally remained in the urban park.

“Biodiversity” not only refers to the number of individual species, but also the genetic variety within and between species and the diversity of ecosystems and regions.

City Parks are less likely to have biodiversity richness as compared to a farm or a rainforest.

This is because these parts are artificially created and a lot of naturally occurring flora and fauna are modified in the process. This results in dilution of biodiversity-rich place.
