Mobilization techniques that is commonly used include superior/inferior glides, medial/lateral glides upward and downward rotation, and diagonal patterns.

The Mobilizations techniques uses tools for rehabilitation of the shoulder complex when there is tightness of the surrounding ligaments, and when there is tightness of the joint capsules. Any patient with joint stiffness or pain can benefit from joint mobilization.

Hence, the mobilization technique has been proven to be an effective treatment technique in order to improve shoulder mobility in patients.
