Chris and Jim must replace a <em>total</em> quantity of 17 tyres.

<h3>What is the minimum number of tyres to be replaced?</h3>

In this problem we must use an inequality of the form f(x) ≥ a, where f(x) is the difference between the number of tyres replaced by Jim and the number of tyres replaced by Chris:

(25/20) · x - x ≥ 3

(5/20) · x ≥ 3

x ≥ 12

Then, the <em>minimum</em> number of tyres to be replaced is n = 15 + 12 = 17 tyres.

3, 12, 48, 192, 768, . . .
Sav [38]
The answer would be the sequence has a common ratio of 4.
The explanation for this would be:
To get the common ratio for get the simplest form of the two numbers, so 12/3 = 4 and 48/12 = 4So we know that their common ratio is 4.
To check:
3 x 4 = 12
12 x 4 = 48
48 x 4 = 192
192 x 4 = 768

Please help with this arc equation.
boyakko [2]

Answer:

Part 1) arc\ AB=49^o

Part 2) arc\ ABC=204^o

Part 3) arc\ BAC=156^o

Part 4) arc\ ACB=311^o

Step-by-step explanation:

Part 1) Find the measure of arc AB

we know that

arc\ AB=m\angle AOB ----> by central angle

we have

m\angle AOB=49^o

therefore

arc\ AB=49^o

Part 2) Find the measure of arc ABC

we know that

The central angle of complete circle is equal to 360 degrees

so

arc\ ABC=360^o-107^o-49^o=204^o

Part 3) Find the measure of arc BAC

we know that

arc\ BAC=arc\ BA+arc\ AC ----> by angle addition postulate

we have

arc\ BA=49^o ---> by central angle

arc\ AC=107^o ---> by central angle

so

arc\ BAC=49^o+107^o=156^o

Part 4) Find the measure of arc ACB

we know that

The central angle of complete circle is equal to 360 degrees

so

arc\ ACB=360^o-arc\ AB

substitute

arc\ ACB=360^o-49^o=311^o
