Pain-killing drugs derived from opium are known as narcotics.

Which type of drug classification are addictive drugs?

Addictive substances can generally be categorized as stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, or opioids. These four drug categories set substances apart based on how they affect the brain and change a person's attitude and conduct. Narcotics are typically referred to as narcotic analgesics because their primary therapeutic function is the alleviation of pain. Opiates, or substances found in or derived from opium, are the most well-known drugs. The dried milky fluid of the opium poppy's seed pods is used to make opium (Papaver somniferum).

The central nervous system becomes less active when stimulants are used. Stimulant drugs are those that make the central nervous system work more vigorously. Barbiturates reduce brain activity by preventing the transmission or reception of signals from brain nerves. Hallucinogens are substances that can induce hallucinations and can be created synthetically or naturally.

Answer: option A is correct

Explanation:

If i were to be the medical personel in charge i would advice the young college student to change the antibacterial mouthwash to an antifungal mouthwash or salt water as superinfection of candidiasis develops.

I would encourage her to use a soft-bristled toothbrush to avoid further mouth injury. After eating, the young college girl should rinse her mouth for about 30 to 80 seconds with an antifungal mouthwash or salt water.

Hope this helps.
