Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Lose weight, maintain weight or gain weight. No matter what the goal, but knowing how much calories your body needs to eat each day can help in all three situations.

To know your daily needs and calories you need to use a formula that takes into account factors such as physical activity, age, gender and body size. Also, you need to consider basal metabolism which is the minimum amount your body needs to maintain vital functions when your body is at rest, such as breathing.

Opinion question- for my sake-
-Dominant- [34]
Personally, I think that therapy gets very personal at times, some people would rather see a recovery without having to open up about their issues with a person who they likely do not know. They might either have a hard time opening up, feel uncomfortable, some people don’t even believe in therapy! There’s that one saying “What good will talking do?” some people really have that mentality! So they deal with their issues with meds.

The focus of health promotion and disease prevention efforts should be directed toward
Lerok [7]

Answer: b. modifiable risk factors

Explanation:

Modifiable risk factors are those factors which are associated with unhealthy lifestyle and they can be directly related to the development of disease and these can be fatal if the factors are not avoided or modified. The examples of modified risk factors include tobacco and alcohol consumption, excess weight gain, unhealthy eating habits and physical inactivity.

Thus the focus of health promotion and disease prevention efforts should be directed to the modified risk factors as these can be reduced, avoided and prevented to support good health and promote disease free life.
