When current criteria were followed, compression depths ranged from 3.4 to 5.1 cm for infants and 4.4 to 6.6 cm for children. The compression depths at the interni pple line compared to the lower half of the sternum were same. These 2 were found beneath intrathoracic structures that suggested similar compression landmarks. In comparison to the suggested compression depths for adults (3.8-5.1 cm).
