How do I explain this
xenn [34]
This one is hard but I give it ago: so if Brad has got 4 chains and he made that in 1 hour and Velma can only make 3 chains in 1 hour but she has made 6 already. That means Velma has used 2 hours to make them 6 chains. So Brad if he does 2 hours that makes 12 chains,Then it Velma does 2 hours more she makes 12 chains as well. So they have the same amount of number.
Hopefully that helps :D

During his versus non school football team Wade made 5 of 9 field goals he tried during his second season he made 11 of the 15 f
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

  second season

Step-by-step explanation:

  5/9 ≈ 0.56 . . . first season

  11/15 ≈ 0.73 . . second season

The greater fraction of field goals was made in the second season.

__

You can also compare these fractions in this way:

  {5/9, 11/15}

Multiply both by 9×15:*

  {5·15, 9·11} = {75, 99}

The second fraction is larger.

_____

* The product of the denominators is the simplest number to compute as a multiple of both denominators. A smaller value can be found by removing a factor of 3, which is the GCD of 9 and 15. If both fractions are multiplied by 9×15/3 = 45, the result is {25, 33}. IMO, that's more work.

Solve this equation with a variable term on both sides. 5.1y = –0.3y – 21.6 What is the solution? need help now (will mark brain
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

y = -4

Step-by-step explanation:

Combine the y terms.  To do this, add 0.3y to both sides, which results in:

5.1y + 0.3y = -21.6, or

5.4y = -21.6

Dividing both sides by 5.4 yields the desired result:

y = -21.6/5.4 = -4
