The property rights approach to environmental issues often becomes highly relevant in cases involving endangered species.

The approach based on property rights postulates that if exclusive property rights are correctly established, the public good of maintaining high environmental quality may be converted into a private good, and the best possible distribution of environmental resources will be accomplished.

The protection of people's property rights is an efficient method for preserving and rehabilitating endangered animals. It is more likely that recovery will occur if these animals are owned by someone who will benefit in some way from their growth. But if endangered species are nothing more than a burden, any kind of financial incentive to preserve them is met with fierce opposition.

Mashcka [7]

Answer: D. magnesium

Explanation:

Chlorosis is a condition in which the leaves of the green plants do not have enough nutrients so as to synthesize the chlorophyll to keep the leaves green. Thus the leaves loose their color. The loss of chlorophyll from the older leaves is the characteristic feature of magnesium deficiency. It happens when the soil in which the plants are growing lacks magnesium.

If a boy exhibits a sex-linked trait that is carried on the X chromosome, what must be true?
ad-work [718]

Answer;

C. His mother carried at least one allele for that trait

Explanation;

-Men have a single allele of each gene on the X chromosome, inherited from their mother, and a single allele of each gene on the Y chromosome, from their father.

-A sex-linked trait is a trait that is controlled by a gene or an allele located on the sex chromosome.

-X-linked traits are maternally inherited from carrier mothers or from an affected father. Each son born to a carrier mother has a 50% probability of inheriting the X-chromosome carrying the mutant allele.
