Only you can determine the advantages and disadvantages of offering medical attention to someone at a active shooter event.

  • An active shooter is a person who shoots or attempts to shoot people in a crowded, condensed place without having a clear procedure for picking their targets.
  • The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security advise "Run," "Hide," and "Fight" in the event of an active shooter.

Run

  • Try to leave the area if at all feasible.
  • Make sure to have a plan and an escape route in mind.
  • Whether or whether others agree to follow, evacuate.

Hide

  • Find a spot to hide where the active shooter is less likely to find you if evacuation is not an option. Your hiding spot should be hidden and invisible.
  • Offer cover in case shots are fired in your general vicinity (for example, a locked door of an office).
  • Not ensnare you or limit your range of motion

Fight

  • As a final resort, make an effort to disorient and/or disable the active shooter by: • Approaching him/her as aggressively as you can.
  • Throwing objects and creating homemade weapons.
  • Shouting

Explain the significance and impact of the American with Disabilities Act on businesses in the United States.
garik1379 [7]

Businesses were prohibited from discriminating against people with disabilities in any workplace function, including hiring, promotion, and firing, under the ADA. Businesses were also required to make their stores accessible to people with disabilities. This includes making them wheelchair accessible and allowing blind and deaf people to safely navigate them. Businesses that continued to break these laws risked being sued and paying hefty fines.

Hope this helps and if it does, don't be afraid to give my answer a "Thanks" and maybe a Brainliest if it's correct?
