A common source of tinea corporis following the development of lesions on the nonhairy parts of the face, trunk, and limbs can be a kitten.

Tinea corporis: It can be described as a round rash on the body caused due to a fungal infection. It appeared circular with rashes on the boundary and clear skin in the middle, it is itchy and red.

It is spread by direct contact with an infected person or by using the bedding, towels, and clothing of the infected person. A warm, moist environment facilitates growth.

It can be commonly transmitted to young children from pets like dogs and cats and is also interpreted as a clinical sign of a depressed immune system.
