The English would become the dominant power in North America by 1750.. They all depended on slaves and indentured laborers to cultivate their fields. This is further explained below.

Generally,  Maryland, ∨irginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia were the southern colonies.

In conclusion, Until 1750, the English had dominated North America. For the most part, their farms were staffed by freed slaves or indentured servants.
