The Bay of Pigs (in Spanish, Bahia de los Cochinos) is a bay on the southern coast of Cuba, best known for an unsuccessful invasion attempt by more than 1,200 Cuban exiles linked to the old regime of Fulgencio Batista, backed by the United States and the Mafia, who were trained and funded by the US secret service CIA in 1961. This invasion happened because of the persistence of the United States in countering the dispersal of the dangerous communist ideals. It happened in 1961, the Cuban Missle Crisis was in the next year.
The reason is that the European nations main aim for world exploration is for resources and power from nations and not to increase the populution of nations
