A cone is a <em>3-dimensiona</em>l shape that consists of a <u>circular</u> or <u>flat</u> surface and a <u>curved</u> side. Thus the <em>volume</em> of the given cone is 4.1 mi.^{3}

A cone is a<em> 3-dimensiona</em>l shape that consists of a <u>circular</u> or <u>flat</u> surface and <u>curved</u> side. Its <em>volume</em> can be determined by;

The <u>volume</u> of a <u>cone </u>= \frac{1}{3} \pir^{2}h

where r is the <u>radius</u> of its <u>flat</u> surface, and h is its <em>height</em>.

From the given question, we have to <u>determine</u> the value of h using the <u>Pythagoras</u> theorem.

Such that;

/Hyp/^{2} = /Adj 1/^{2} + /Adj 2/^{2}

4^{2} = h^{2} + 1^{2}

16 = h^{2} + 1

h^{2} = 15

h = \sqrt{15}

Thus the<em> volume </em>of the<em> cone</em> = \frac{1}{3} \pir^{2}h

                             =  \frac{1}{3}x \frac{22}{7} x 1^{2}x    \sqrt{15}

                             = 4.0574

Therefore the <u>volume</u> of the given<em> cone</em> is 4.1 mi.^{3}

Could I please get help with this, I’m very confused and don’t know how to do this. Please and thank you
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

(See bolded numbers)

<u>Factoring</u><u> -1 out of negative numbers</u><u>:</u>

11) (-6) • (3)= (-1 • 6) • 3= -1 • 6 • 3= -18

-6 is the negative number here and factoring out -1 from -6 will give us -1(6). In the second last step, multiply 6 and 3 together then multiply the product by -1.

-1(6 ×3)= -1(18)= -18

12) (-4) • (-8)= (-1 • 4) • (-1 • 8)= 1 • 4 • 8= 32

Multiplying 2 negative numbers will give us a positive number. The 3rd step is 1 as (-1)(-1)= 1.

13) (-9) • (-5)= (-1 • 9) • (-1 • 5)= 1 • 9 • 5= 45

14) (2) • (-8)= 2 • (-1 • 8)= -1 • 2 • 8= -16

Negative numbers are numbers with a negative sign and are numbers less than zero. Factoring -1 out of negative numbers will leave us with the positive number.

Plz answer this for x
nirvana33 [79]
HEY THERE !!

AS WE KNOW A HEXAGON'S ALL ANGLES ARE 720°

SO HERE X = 720° - all rest angle's add

or 160+75+132+113+108= 588
x = 720 - 588
x = 132 °
