Answer: Respiration and photosynthesis are an example of Biosphere and Atmosphere interaction.

Explanation:

The Atmosphere is the gaseous mass or envelope that surrounds the planetary body and retained by its gravitational field.

The Biosphere is the living and dynamic part of the earth and it constantly responds to the surrounding atmosphere.

The Biosphere interacts with the atmosphere by affecting its physical and chemical properties.

In Photosynthesis, plants breathe CO2 and release O2 while in respiration, animals breathe O2 and release CO2. These interactions alter the gaseous composition of the atmosphere, thereby affecting chemical properties of the atmosphere.

This interaction can lead to changes in the climate, temperature, etc. Some other examples of biosphere and atmosphere interactions are mineral cycles, carbon storage, desertification, energy cycle and water cycle.

During DNA replication, the short sections of new DNA, known as Okazaki fragments, which are eventually linked together by ligas
Marianna [84]

Answer:

The correct answer is- lagging strand

Explanation:

During the DNA replication both the strands acts as template strand and DNA polymerase replicated both the strand. During this replication, one strand is replicated continuously which is called the leading strand and another strand is not synthesized in a continuous manner.

So small DNA fragments are formed due to discontinuous replication of DNA which is called Okazaki fragments. These fragments are then joined by DNA ligase and the strand is called lagging strand.

Therefore the strand which is synthesized in a discontinuous manner is called lagging strand.

Which freshwater ecosystem is least productive apex?
miv72 [106K]

Answer:

The "bog freshwater" ecosystem is least productive.

Explanation:

The bog freshwater ecosystem is least productive because of the stability or we can say stagnant type. This type of ecosystem comprise of the evergreen shrubs, and trees and also a floor which will be covered with a thick carpet of the sphagnum moss. The animals like carnivore species will be found. The animal population will be very less. It have, red deer, dragonflies and birds such as grouse and plover will be there. The depth of this type of freshwater is about 6-10 feet it can extend up to 16 feet.
