Leave everything a bit better than you found it. 2-3 sentence
GenaCL600 [577]
“Leave everything a bit better than you found it,” means respect. That’s what I think of when I see that sentence. It’s like the other saying “do more than what is expected of you.” When you leave things a bit better than you found it, your not only showing respect but your showing a good example. Your showing how responsible you are. Also it gets you in the habit of doing good things for not only other people but yourself!

How would being far away from Great Britain be a problem for
Readme [11.4K]

Answer:

The main problem was because they didn't have their representatives in the Parliament and therefore weren't able to participate in the process of decision making. For example, when new taxes and acts were introduced, colonists weren't able to participate in discussions, especially because they were the ones that were paying most of the taxes.

Explanation:

Colonists felt that they were deprived of their rights and that British government is doing nothing to help them.

To make things worse government introduced new laws, which were against the interest of colonists.

As the colonists didn't have anyone to represent them in London they couldn't legally change anything. That is why revolution started.
