Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

The War Powers Act is a federal law intended to check the U.S. president's power to commit the United States to an armed conflict without the consent of the U.S. Congress. This act was passed by Congress over President Nixon's veto to increase congressional control over the executive branch in foreign policy matters, specifically in regard to military actions short of formally declared war.

After she noticed that girls in her sorority wear their sorority pins every day, Mia began wearing her pin daily.
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

Mia's behavior is an example of - A) conformity.

Explanation:

Conformity is a form of social behavior that is one of the most common in society, where individuals match their attitude and behavior with the group in order to fit in.

Here, Mia conforms to sorority's choices (group), because it is easier and safer to follow the path laid by others, rather than making a decision themselves and creating a new path. This behavior would put a person into a risk of exclusion, which is even higher with groups that share a strong self identity, like sororities.

Explain what the USA government is doing currently to help ensure that our meat/food is safe to eat? What laws? What regulations
mihalych1998 [28]
One of the main laws is the Pure Food And Drug Administration Act passed in 1906 by Theodore Roosevelt because of the conditions in the meat shops and other places. They test the food for things such as radiation or other biochemical things that could harm us. I don't know that much but it helps keep us safe from the chemicals.
