In particular, "snake story" Becky would not find the following to be a real treat:

She said proudly, "Not poisonous. She took back the book and walked over to her closet, saying, "It's an oak snake, Louie." Although not poisonous, I still won't take any chances.

This made it obvious that the snake was not dangerous and helped to explain it. However, we do recognize that the snake may have been; however, there was one indication from her little snake book that somehow this snake was not.

We must keep in mind that while Becky dealt with reptiles, she was more afraid of snakes in this situation. She wouldn't take any risks at all because of this. This would be an example of a snake that was not dangerous in any case.

I remember doing something like this in my English/U.S. History class, so we are in the same shoes. ¯\_✿ ³✿_/¯

Washington has a entwined history with the sport of baseball. From President William Taft to President Barack Obama, every president since William Taft - exept Jimmy Carter - has thrown at least one ceremonial pitch while in office. A lot of presidents have had a history in the sport of baseball. And some of them could have made a career out of it.

President Warren Harding, for example, owned a baseball team in Ohio. Dwight Eisenhower used to play on a junior baseball team at West Point. Even so, Washington did not have a baseball team for almost 3 decades, from 1971, till when the Nationals came in 2005. George W. Bush was the first president to throw a pitch in the new Nationals' new ballpark. The opening pitch of a baseball is truly a POTUS tradition, and always will be - I hope. -

riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

In my opinion, I would say that the quote means

That in everything that we do we must be sincere, hardworking, honest and trustworthy because from our character determines what we will be in the future.

From the quote I can also say that we ought to use our God-given talents wisely because that can pave way for our achievement.

"Better keep yourself clean and bright": For me it means that we should be faithful in all that we do and always Strive to stand out positively.

"you are the window to which you must see the world" : for me, this means that it is only you that would take you to where you want to go. Only you can make yourself successful if you have that positive "I can do it" mindset.
