What was the relationship between the development of suburbs and car ownership?
denpristay [2]

After the Great Depression and the end of the war era, many Americans were wanting to settle down into a family life and experience “The American Dream” of owning a home with land and having more children. This led to flocks of people, especially war veterans getting government assistance, buying land outside of urban cities and the creation of the suburb area.

The creation of automobiles by big companies such as Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors along with the creation of the International Highway System allowed for this transition to happen successfully on a mass scale. People were now able to own private transportation, and travel to and from work and commercial stores in major cities, leaving the often overcrowded and tarnished cities and apartment building living to poor immigrant and African American majorities.

Tourette's syndrome is a neuropsychiatric disorder characterized by multiple motor or vocal tics that persist for more than a year and usually settle in childhood. Most of the time, tics are of different types and vary over the course of a week or month to month.

Experimental conditions: these group members will consume alcohol at specified given conditions.

Control conditions: these group members will not consume alcohol.

The participants in this experiment are 16 teenagers aged from 16 to 19, 8 teenagers will be allowed to drink 100% agave tequila, and 8 teenagers will be the control group.

All teenagers participants belong to four mexican related families which will represent the experiment´s group.

Group # 1: Sanchez family with 4 participants aged 16 and 19 year old teenagers will be in the experimental group and the 17 and 18 year old ones, in the control group.

Group # 2: Gutierrez family with 3 participants aged 16 year old twins  in the control and one 19 year old in the experimental group.
