The monster promises to be "mild and docile to my natural lord and king" if Victor will do his part, something that the creature felt that Victor owed him. He tells Victor that he should be his Adam.

Moreover, the monster threatens to harm victors family if victor doesn't help him.

The creature promise to leave Victor and his friends and family alone if he complies with his conditions. If Victor refuses, however, the creature vows,
