If the sensory neurons in a person's hand could not carry a transmission of a signal, such person will not be able to feel anything that he or she touches.

What is the significance of sensory neurons?

Sensory neurons are referred to or considered as such neurons which are helpful in transmission of signals from the sensory organs to the nervous system. Skin is one of the essential sensory neuron present in the hands.

If the hands are not able to transmit signals, then the sensory neurons will not be able to give messages to the nervous system, and as a result, one will not be able to feel anything that he or she touches.

Therefore, the significance of sensory neurons has been aforementioned.

How did the United States differ from those countries in Europe where religious minorities faced persecution?
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

Religion declines with economic development. In a previous post that rattled around the Internet, I presented a scholarly explanation for this pattern: people who feel secure in this world have less interest in another one.

The basic idea is that wealth allows people to feel more secure in the sense that they are confident of having their basic needs met and expect to lead a long healthy life. In such environments, there is less of a market for religion, the primary function of which is to help people cope with stress and uncertainty.

Some readers of the previous post pointed out that the U.S. is something of an anomaly because this is a wealthy country in which religion prospers. Perhaps taking the view that one swallow makes a summer, the commentators concluded that the survival of religion here invalidates the security hypothesis. I do not agree.

Explanation:

The first point to make is that the connection between affluence and the decline of religious belief is as well-established as any such finding in the social sciences. In research of this kind, the preferred analysis strategy is some sort of line-fitting exercise. No researcher ever expects every case to fit exactly on the line, and if they did, something would be seriously wrong.

One main difference between the United States Constitution and state constitutions is that state constitutions
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]
A main difference between the United States Constitution and state constitutions are that state constitutions are subservient to the U.S. Constitution and can only outline powers which are allowed to states by the U.S. Constitution. States cannot enumerate for itself powers that are not allowed to the state by the U.S. Constitution. Therefore, the U.S. Constitution is the highest law of the land and cannot be changed or adapted as a result of a state constitution.

THE LEADER AND THE LED

The Lion stakes his claim

To the leadership of the pack

But the Antelopes remember

The ferocious pounce of his paws

The hyena says the crown is made for him

But the Impalas shudder at his lethal appetite

The Giraffe craves a place in the front

But his eyes are too far from the ground

When the Zebra says it’s his right to lead

The pack points to the duplicity of his stripes

The Elephant trudges into the power tussle

But its colleagues dread his trampling feet

Proclaims the Forest Sage,

A little bit of a Lamb

Tough like a tiger, compassionate like a doe

Transparent like a river, mysterious like a lake

A leader who knows how to follow

Followers mindful of their right to lead”
