A main difference between the United States Constitution and state constitutions are that state constitutions are subservient to the U.S. Constitution and can only outline powers which are allowed to states by the U.S. Constitution. States cannot enumerate for itself powers that are not allowed to the state by the U.S. Constitution. Therefore, the U.S. Constitution is the highest law of the land and cannot be changed or adapted as a result of a state constitution.

Blababa [14]

As per the activation-synthesis hypothesis, it should be possible to predict stimuli currently acting on the body and areas of spontaneous brain activity.

What is activation-synthesis hypothesis?

According to the activation-synthesis model, dreams are caused by physiological processes in the brain.

While it was once thought that sleeping and dreaming were passive processes, researchers now know that the brain is anything but quiet while sleeping.

It is stated that a dream is the cerebral cortex converting nerve impulses sent from the body to the brain stem into something meaningful.

Thus, according to the activation-synthesis hypothesis, it should be possible to predict current stimuli acting on the body as well as areas of spontaneous brain activity.

Why did people first settle along the Nile River?
kolezko [41]

Answer: Most Egyptians lived near the Nile as it provided water, food, transportation and excellent, fertile soil for growing food. Ancient Egypt could not have existed without the river Nile. Since rainfall is almost non-existent in Egypt, the floods provided the only source of moisture to sustain crops.
