This count is a discrete random variable (option A).

What is a discrete random variable?

A discrete random variable is a variable that contains integers that can only be a limited number of possible values. A discrete random variable is can contain only a finite set of numbers .

An example of discrete random variable is the number of students in the first period class. It is impossible for the number of students in the class to go on indefinitely.

Discrete random variable has the following properties:

 • It is finite
 • It is numeric
 • It is countable
 • It contains non-negative integers.

A continous random variable is a variable that has an infinite number.

How do u find the point in a graph if they are not given to u when u solving changing y over changing x
stiks02 [169]
U would replace x with 0 in the equation and solve and then do the same but with y and those are ur x and y values of ur point
Ex: 2x+5y=15
2(0) +5y=15
5y=15
Y=3
2x+5(0)=15
2x=15
X=7.5
So ur point would be (7.5,3)

Elvira’s cafeteria has cartons of milk that are typical of school lunch. The milk supplier charges $0.35 per carton of milk, in
FromTheMoon [43]
Write the equation out: (total cost: 0.35C[per carton] + 75[delivery charge]) ≤ 500. Subtract 75 on both sides and it would be: 0.35C ≤ 425. Divide 0.35 on both sides and you'll get C ≤ 1214. Therefore, the maximum # of cartons that Elvira can buy is 1214 cartons of milk.
