Kenji seemed to forget that he was abused by a family member when he was very young. When he later remembered that he was the victim of this abuse, he uncovered what psychologists call a Repressed Memory.

How does the brain remember that it has forgotten something?

Remembering happens during retrieval, when our brains are able to recreate the neural activity that occurred during encoding. Forgetting is usually caused by an error in retrieval and can be affected by emotions or stress

What part of the brain is responsible for memory?

Hippocampus. The hippocampus, located in the brain's temporal lobe, is where episodic memories are formed and indexed for later access.

Repressed memory :

is a controversial, and largely scientifically discredited, claim that memories for traumatic events may be stored in the unconscious mind and blocked from normal conscious recall.

What causes repressed memory?

Scientists believe suppressed memories are created by a process called state-dependent learning. When the brain creates memories in a certain mood or state, particularly of stress or trauma, those memories become inaccessible in a normal state of consciousness.

Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer: Resources are collectively owned by the people .

Explanation:

A Socialist Government is one that believes that a nation is better off if the resources it has are owned and regulated by the people.

Sweden being a socialist government means therefore that the resources are owned by the people. The resources will be managed on behalf of the Swedish people by the Government however because letting everyone have a say in the regulation of resources will present an impossible challenge.
