Socialization exists the process through which individuals exist taught to be proficient associates of society. It represents the practices in that people come to understand societal norms and expectations, obtain society's beliefs, and be conscious of societal values.

Socialization prepares individuals to participate in a social group by introducing them to its norms and expectations. Socialization has three primary objectives: teaching impulse control and designing a conscience, preparing individuals to perform certain social roles, and cultivating shared sources of purpose and value.

According to Lundberg, socialization consists of the “complex processes of interaction via which the individual comprehends the habits, skills, beliefs, and measure of judgment that exist essential for his effective participation in social groups and communities”.

Socializing not only staves off emotions of loneliness, but also helps sharpen memory and cognitive talents improves your sense of happiness and well-being, and may even assist you to live longer. In-person stands best but linking via technology also works.
