The causes of the climate change of Ethiopia are rapid deforestation, rapid population growth and agricultural expansions, air pollution etc. The consequences of climate change of Ethiopia are increase in the average temperature and the level of precipitation.

Climate change is a long-term shift in global or regional climate patterns. Often climate change refers specifically to the rise in global temperatures from the mid-20th century to present. It results in the unexpected weather patterns and the change in the same making it quite unpredictable. It has been connected with other damaging weather events such as more frequent and more intense hurricanes, floods, downpours, and winter storms.

<h3>What are the Causes of Climate Change? </h3>

More than 85 percent of emissions are due to agriculture and deforestation, while the power, transport, industrial and building sectors contribute 3 percent each. Globally, Ethiopia accounts for less than 0.1 percent of emissions, yet it is already experiencing the adverse effects of climate change. The major reasons or the causes of climate change in Ethiopia is rapid deforestation, rapid population growth and agricultural expansions, along with air pollution etc.

Climate change is expected to increase heatwaves, droughts, flooding, and sea levels around the world, and also cause important health risks in Ethiopia. Ethiopia is vulnerable to many of the effects of climate change, including increases in average temperature and changes in precipitation.
