Thermal energy is transferred during heating.

What is thermal energy?

  • Thermal energy refers to the ability to do work. As such thermal energy can also be defined as the ability of something to do work as a result of the movement of its particles.
  • In other words, thermal energy is the energy possessed by an object or body by virtue of the movement of its constituent particles.
  • It is the total internal kinetic energy of an object due to the random motion of its atoms and molecules.
  • Thermal energy is a type of kinetic energy owing to the fact that it results from the movement of particles. Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object due to its motion.
  • Thermal energy forms the foundation of the study of heat energy and thermodynamics. It is one of the oldest forms of energy utilized by mankind.
  • Its usage existed even before petroleum and nuclear power sources were discovered.

Explain how a single allele can exhibit both complete dominance and codominance?
zubka84 [21]

Complete dominance is only one allele in the genotype seen in phenotype .Both alleles genotype are seen in the phenotype.

Alleles aren't fully dominant or recessive to one another, but instead display co-dominance and dominance. Co-dominance occurs when Allen show dominance. ABO blood group is good example of multiple alleles which shows co-dominance passed from parents to the offspring.

Dominance in which dominant allele is fully expressed while suppressing recessive allele effect on phenotype.and co-dominance  are the process in which both alleles independently work and express effect without mixing the effects. Both are two types of genetic inheritance. It is a condition which has dominant allele does not completely mask the effect of recessive allele.

During transcription, enzymes bind to a molecule of DNA. Then, the enzymes unwind and separate the DNA's double helical strands.
stich3 [128]
MRNA or messenger RNA. As the central dogma of biotech goes, DNA is transcribed to mRNA which is translated to tRNA, after which the amino acids form peptide bonds and form proteins. So when you see transcription, the first thing you think of is DNA to mRNA.

In addition to calcium, the major minerals needed to build and maintain bone tissue include:_________
kotegsom [21]

In addition to calcium, the major minerals needed to build and maintain bone tissues includes phosphorus. Calcium is not made in the body, it is absorbed from the food that we eat.

The main function of the phosphorus is in the formation of bones and teeth. It plays role in the use of carbohydrates and fats in body. It is also useful for the body to make protein for the growth, maintenance and repairing of cells.

Both calcium and phosphorus are closely together to form strong bones. calcium needs phosphorus to maximize the bone strengthening.

Carbohydrates is a biomolecules that is consist of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms.

Choose one property of water that makes it unique describe the property and explain the chemical or physical reason that causes
avanturin [10]
Water has a high latent heat of vaporisation meaning it takes a lot of energy to make water evaporate. This is because it takes a lot of energy to overcome the hydrogen bonds and intermolecular forces in a water molecule.
