Most of the early civilizations were distance away from the equator based on the fact that the equator was hot hence the need to have their civilizations around the riverine areas.

What were the early civilizations?

This is the term that is used to refer to the civilizations that were developed around the time that humans decided to stop the nomadic system of living from one place to another and settle down in one particular area.

The civilizations then were around river banks because they were able to use the waters for agriculture and also to carry out their day to day living.

Methods that are effective at acquiring and resisting power?
Zigmanuir [339]

Methods that are effective at acquiring power are often entirely different from resisting power.

Explanation:

To acquire power in a political sense a nation must always be looking to expand its influence across the borders and to be in a position of profit against its rivals on issues that concern both parties.

This also includes begin able to harness any loopholes in the world politic scenario for the profit.

To refuse power in this sense is to project strength and independence but to not seek an active role in the world politics and instead maintain own position of advantage.

Many peacekeeping countries have been found following this rule.
